INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT “Education Past the Nation”

The organization “Change Your Life Now” (CYLN) is organizing and implementing the project “Education Past the Nation – EduPAST,” funded by the ERASMUS+ Program of the European Union for Youth, under Key Action 1 (KA152 – Youth Mobility), through the National Coordination Unit, INEDIVIM.

The theme of the project focuses on social cohesion and the integration of young people with a migration background into host societies. The project aims to delve deeper into issues of respect and social integration in today’s societies, creating an environment of tolerance.

Moreover, such instances of social exclusion due to unequal life opportunities constitute an intolerable violation of human rights. Therefore, the main concern of the project is the development and promotion of the skills and competencies of the participating youth to ultimately address this issue.

The organization “Change Your Life Now” – CYLN is seeking 10 young individuals aged 18-28 to participate in the Youth Exchange within the framework of the project “Education Past the Nation – EduPAST,” funded by ERASMUS+ through the National Coordination Unit, INEDIVIM.

The exchange will take place from May 19 to 26, 2024, in Chania, Crete.

Application deadline: April 12, 2024

Project Description

The project aims to create a simple yet effective campaign with a European impact. The campaign addresses issues of social integration and social cohesion concerning marginalized individuals.

The project seeks to delve into the above themes using non-formal learning methods that will educate, entertain, and motivate the young participants to actively engage in workshops, discussions, and group activities that help them explore and become more aware.

Simultaneously, a participatory approach will be employed, allowing young participants to learn effectively, interactively, and enjoyably while providing motivation and enthusiasm for participation in all activities during the exchange. The methodology is implemented through artistic workshops, “round-table” discussions, and outdoor activities.
